Times of India survey on Indian of the year

Amitab Bachchan Comfortably won the Indian of the year survey done by Times of India newspaper in five Indian Metros. Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar stood in the second place.

Business man of the year:

Anil Ambani was selected as Busines man of the year while Ratan Tata got second place.

Entertainer of the year:

Amitabh Bachchan got away with top rank and Tamil super star Rajnikant stood at second.

Sports person of the year:

Sachin tendulkar got first rank while tennis girl Sania Mirza got second place.

Politician of the year:

Sonia Gandhi ranked as number one politician in the Times poll and Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh second.

NRI of the year:

L.N.Mittal got first place.

My opinions:

This survey was done in only five metros and only among 1,000 voters. Even big cities like Hyderabd and Pune are not included in this survey. May be Times of India has got no funds to select more voters in other cities. Why did they do these rubbish surveys with very few voters?

If you really want to know the pulse of the Nation, do it sincerely.

I cann't understand why English media continuously neglect rural people and failed to predict the nation's mood. In 2004 Loksabha elections, they gave thumping victory to BJP. We all know what happened afterwards.

My advice to India media is don't fool people by publishing superficial and unauthentic surveys.
